Blue Period Company™ is a fine arts business based in Boston, MA that specializes in creating beautiful portrait, botanical, and architecture watercolor paintings. Owner and creator Emma Shelton (American, b. 1999) was inspired to create this company when she created a blue portrait series during her school years. Emma was drawn to the color blue because of its inherent tranquility and connection to renowned Spanish painter Pablo Picasso's own blue period. Her works embody the beauty we see in the everyday world and she strives to embrace the emotional connections we as humans share with nature.
